Jeddah Mali 2 Day Weekend Workshop and 3 Day Retreat
Findhorn Foundation, Forres, Scotland
11th to 15th June, 2011

'Embracing a New Chapter for Mankind'
2 Day Weekend Workshop in the Universal Hall
11th - 12th June
The overall theme of the weekend event and the follow-on retreat is looking at the impact of human understanding on our relationship with life.
We will open the weekend workshop by examining the questions: Where are we now and how did we get here? At times we will draw on international data as to the current state of life on Earth. And go on to uncover the deeper causes of why the human race has become an anomaly amongst the species on this planet.
Then we will seek to examine the fundamental roots of existence, comparing the discoveries uncovered by science with the historical contribution of religion and philosophy. We address whether there is a common map around which all life orientates itself, and whether greater understanding of that map can prompt new perceptions and new conclusions.
We will look at the options that are available to mankind at this time of increased challenge and also examine the poignant question: What if the key to meeting those challenges is actually an undiscovered part of our hardwiring as human beings?A significant aspect of the weekend will be for participants to examine these vast questions within their own experience, and in doing so uncover the role that experience plays in relaying vital information to us as to the wisdom of our present thoughts and actions. We examine the (often disputed) validity of personal, human experience as a reliable and trustworthy source of evidence.
We will also be asking the following questions: What does the future world we desire require of us now? And what are the most viable options for achieving this on an individual, societal and global level? As part of this section, we will share some of the ground-breaking science on the Earth's electromagnetic fields and what this is increasingly revealing to us about the interaction between human beings and the Earth.
There will be presentations, Q&A sessions, audience participation and several beautiful meditations led by Jeddah to enhance integration of the teachings.
Income related prices: £195 / £295 / £395
Includes 2 nights accommodation and all meals.
3 Day Transformational Retreat
13th - 15th JuneDuring the 3 day retreat the group will be encouraged to participate in the examination of the topics raised over the weekend, as well as drawing on a number of sources to furnish our discussion, such as historical fact, recent data, relevant scientific discoveries and accepted wisdom. Each day is divided into sections for presentation, discussion, question time and closed eye analysis (analytical meditation). Previous experience has shown that participants find the programme content and delivery revealing, compelling, fascinating, intriguing, fun and transformational.
Jeddah's retreats are designed to help participants explore the fabric of existence. In doing so, they are able to move into a more expansive view of life, and to shift their entire paradigm to a new experience of being.
There will be regular guided meditations, breathing exercises, yoga instruction, presentations and Q&A sessions.
